If you use social media sites only to sell stuff, you’re totally missing the boat. You’ll either be labled as a spammer, or the people you meet won’t give a crap what you have to say.

People frequent these sites to meet others and socialize. Not to be hit with sales pitches. They should be used to become an authority figure in your market, meet people, and provide value to those you interact with.
