What Makes A Successful Product Launch


  

With all the product launches popping up one after another, there’s all sorts of models you can use when launching your own product. 

If you have a physical product, you may want to opt for the "free offer" style of launch that’s been popularized most recently by Mike Filsaime, Frank Kern and the boys over at Stompernet.

The formula is simple:

1.  Have an irresistable "free" front end offer.  If people are gonna pay shipping, and take you up on it, you have to make it a no brainer.  You still have to SELL the "free offer"

2.  Have a great back end in place.  This is the ultimate key to succeding with this type of launch is to have a good continuity model in place.  The reason you want prospects to take you up on your"free offer" is to get them into your continuity program.

3. Have a nice fat series of upsells.  One click upsells are where it’s at.  They convert like crazy.  In the 7 Figure Secrets launch, Mike Filsaime reported his one click upsell on the order page was converting at almost 40%.  Which is damn close to doubling  his revenue for the promotion.

4.  Multiple One Time Offers.  This not only sweetens the commissions for affiliates,  but directly increases your customer value.  Yes, there are gonna be some people pissed at getting hit with multiple OTO’s (and hopefully a downsell too), but oh well - sorry you’re a smart marketer.

5.  Maintaining a good stick rate.  You’re probably gonna lose money aquiring front end customers with this type of promotion.  The REAL money will be made in your back end sales funnel, so make sure you give your customers great value, and teasers for the next month so they have reasons to stay on.

This is just one launch model you can copy and use in your business.  The key to having great success in your product launches is to BUILD A BIG BUZZ.
